Prescription Collection
In order to process the large number of requests each day please note that 48 hours notice is required for repeat prescription requests. The Schedule for ordering and collection is therefore:
- Monday - Wednesday
- Tuesday - Thursdays
- Wednesday - Friday
- Thursday- Monday
- Friday - Tuesday
Please note that the surgery is not open on weekends. You should therefore ensure that prescriptions are collected before surgery closes on Friday evening.
Due to the high volume of requests received by the practice each day, you should note that you will be asked to call back if you request your prescription earlier than the times indicated above.
Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)
If you get regular prescriptions, the EPS may be able to save you time and unnecessary trips to the surgery. EPS makes it possible for prescriptions to be sent electronically to the pharmacy or dispenser of your choice.
To nominate a pharmacy, just ask your preferred pharmacist what to do.
Pharmacy Collection
If you do not wish to use the EPS but would like the pharmacy to collect prescriptions on your behalf, contact your own pharmacist directly and they will be able to make the necessary arrangements for you.
